Burger, William, D., 83, Johnstown, passed away October 2, 2021. Born November 23, 1937, to the late Emory and Viola (Sprague) Burger. Preceded in death by brothers, Daryl and Donald; sisters, Sara Hetrick and Nina Pizzo; and daughter, Donna (Burger) Myers. Survived by wife, Dorothy (Woznick) Burger. William was a member of the Cambria Masons Lodge #278, and the Jackson Township Lions Club. He was past Master at Masons Lodge, also was the past treasurer at Summit Chapel Church. He worked as a clerk and an assistant manager at ACME Market. He was also a tax collector for East Taylor Township and was the last surviving member of his family. Family and friends will be received Friday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc, 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown, PA 15902 from 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m., Pastor John Weaver and Pastor Wanick Fayette officiating.
