Smith, William T. ”Smitty”, 82, Johnstown., died Oct. 15, 2016 at LaurelWood Care Center. Born May 26, 1934, Johnstown, son of the late William R. and Mildred (Britt) Smith. Survived by loving wife of 52 years, Della V. (Mulhollen) Smith; sister, Sylvia (Smith) Martinek, Johnstown; daughters, Della Grimme and husband Alan, Johnstown; Barbara Ramsdorfer and husband Randy, Johnstown; Debra Fitzpatrick and husband Bernie, Johnstown; Wendy Ernest and husband Ronald, Hastings; son, William Jr. and wife Barbara, Johnstown; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. William was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s numerous activities. Along with spending time with his family, William loved to watch his beloved Steelers play each week and retired from Millers Tuxedos, where he worked for many years. Friends will be received Friday Oct. 21 from 6-7 p.m. with a memorial service at 7 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd.
