Wyar, William “Bill” W., 79, Johnstown, entered eternal life on Feb. 23, 2015, at LaurelWood. He was surrounded by his wife Cindy, daughter Taylor, and sister-in-law Arlene Lokesak. Born June 29, 1935 in Johnstown, to the late Anthony and Mary (Struba) Wyar. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Ethel (Schweitzer) Wyar; and brother Robert Wyar. Survived by loving wife of 25 years, Cindy (Reinholtz) Wyar; father of 3 children, which includes devoted youngest daughter, Taylor Wyar; in-laws, Ida Richey; Arlene Lokesak; Carol Zwick; Richard Reinholtz; Fred and Janice Reinholtz; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families. Bill was a member of First Lutheran Church, retired from Conemaugh & Black Lick Railroad as a diesel mechanic, was a former mayor of Brownstown Borough where he served for 25 years, a member of The Brownstown Vol. Fire Company and was a Republican Committee Chairman, having won the award as Committee Chairman of the year. Bill will be sadly missed by his fur babies, feline “boy”, Daniel and canine “dogter”, Scarlett. At Bill’s request, there will be no public viewing or visitation. A private memorial service will be held at the family’s convenience. Memorial gifts may be made in Bill’s name to Habitat for Hounds, in c/o Joni Weaver, 805 R. Luray Ave. Johnstown, PA 15904.
