Buchan, Yolanda Joann, 90, Parkhill, passed away March 29, 2021 at her home. Born May 25, 1930 to the late Rosario and Frances (Corriero) Pingatore. Preceded in death by husband, Walter Buchan; and siblings, Anthony Pingatore (Rosarie); Emma Mesteller; and Ralph Pingatore. Survived by children, Michael; Richard (Janet); Joann Migyanka (Paul); Walter (Robyn); Robert (Melanie); Thomas (Brooke); James (Kathy); grandchildren, Michael, Eric (Allyson); Kathryn; Matthew, Alan (Ashley), Brad (Michelle), Misty (Thomas), Joshua (Jayme), Micki (Zachary), Noah, Ross (Ivy), Brianne (Ryan), Cassidie, Zoey, Maehgan, Joseph, Jessica, Abegail, and Becky; great grandchildren, Miles, Leo, Blake, Caden, Gavin, Garrett, Bella, Sophia, Adelaide, Evan, Levi, Maddox, Benson, Peyton, Easton, Colden, and Meadow; siblings, Angeline Polonkey (Richard); Joseph Pingatore (Rose); brothers-in-law, Julius Mesteller; Sylvester Gjurich; sisters-in-law, Betty and Rose Buchan; Yolanda’s angels, her niece and caregiver, Nicole Levis and close friend and caregiver, Karen Dreikorn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Yolanda loved her church and was a member of the Ladies Guild. She was a former member of Sacred Heart and most recently a member of St. Clare of Assisi. Yolanda was a member of the Pinnacle Club, enjoyed playing scrabble and doing puzzles. Yolanda’s home was always the “hub”. It was where everybody always gathered for holidays, Sunday dinners, stayed when they were in town, or just stopped in for coffee. She was always feeding and welcoming people into her home. Yolanda enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband and going out on the pontoon boat with “the crew”, which consisted of Nick and Betty and Emma and Julius. Friends will be received Monday April 5 from 2-7 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Mass to be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi.
