Obituary

Bash, Zackery S.- 52, Johnstown, passed away June 3, 2018 at his residence. Born September 2, 1965 in Johnstown, he was a son of Donald L. and Bonnie (Cannonie) Bash. He is survived by his parents; brother Brian Bash; aunts Sharon Yoder and Connie Meyers; nephews Garret and Hunter Bash; and other members of his extended family. Zack was a 1983 graduate of Richland High School. A truck driver for many years, he also worked in Death Valley and Yellowstone National Parks. He loved cooking, spending time outdoors, especially the woods, and loved animals. At the request of the family there will be no visitation, a memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 309 Lincoln St. Johnstown, PA 15901. Rev. Alice Tondora, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Zack to the National Park Foundation, 1110 Vermont Ave, NW, Suite 200 Washington, D.C. 20005.
