Henico, Randolph “Randy” J., 60, Hastings, went to be with his Lord and Savior May 6, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 13, 1955 in Spangler, son of Alfred and Doris (Dillion) Henico. He is preceded in death by his parents. Randy is survived by his wife Isabel (Smith), his children Eric (Amanda) Henico, Johnstown; and Lance Henico, Hastings; his siblings, Bill (Patty) Henico, Hastings; Diane (David) Griak, Hastings; Florence (Regis) Campbell, Chess Springs; and Cathy Rae Henico, Hastings; Randy is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Randy started his career as a coal miner at Greenwich Collier, and was formerly employed by Freight Car America, as an air brake tester, and most recently was employed as a Janitor for the Northern Cambria school district.  He was a social member of the Hastings VFW Post #1586, the Rembrandt Club in St. Benedict, a lifetime member of the Hastings Firemen’s Club, and a former member of the Hastings Moose Lodge #353.  Randy was an avid hunter, especially when it came to archery, and enjoyed it most when he could hunt with his wife, brothers, and son Eric. Randy also enjoyed fishing, cutting the grass, watching Westerns, he was a big fan of John Wayne, and was also a diehard Steelers fan. Randy loved his wife, and his kids, and his family, and his dogs Jazzy and Wyatt, but most importantly he loved his Lord and savior Jesus Christ.  Randy also served as Board member for Cross Cut Church. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at Cross Cut Church, 179 Haida Ave., Hastings, from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Pastor Laura McCombie officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cross Cut Church, or to the family.  The family wishes to thank Dr. Matthew Dvorchak  and Dr. Ibrahim Sbeitan and their staff’s, as well as Heritage hospice  for all the great care they provided for Randy.
