Kunkle, Jack Victor, 88, Johnstown, died August 3, 2016.  Born July 29, 1928 in South Fork to the late Robert V. and Esther (Sanders) Kunkle. Preceded in death by sisters, Roberta Chaney and Jean Hill; and brother, Donald Kunkle. Survived by wife of 66 years, Janet N. (Schmidt) Kunkle; daughters, Brenda K. Troy and husband Chuck; Jackie Williamson and husband Tim; grandchildren, William D. Gregory and wife Rebecca; Angie Berry and husband Maurice; and former son-in-law, Bill Gregory. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and a carpenter for Camillus Long Construction Company. He enjoyed building houses and coaching the Mt. Hope Pirates little league baseball team. Jack’s hobbies included gardening, feeding the birds, the railroad and planes. He also loved his grand-dogs. At Jack’s request there will be no viewing or service.
