Alberter, Caroline F., 52, Johnstown, died Nov. 9, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 13, 1964 in Glasgow, Scotland to Noel and Nancy (McCarney) Cannon. Preceded in death by father; son, Scott Mitchell; daughter, Amanda M. Alberter; father-in-law, Michael E. Alberter Sr.; mother-in-law, Dorothy J. Alberter; and the rest of the gang waiting for her with a cup of tea. Survived by mother; husband, Michael E. Alberter Jr.; children, Kenneth and Keith Cannon; David Mitchell; Michael E. Alberter III; Nancy, Christopher, Andrea, and Andrew Alberter; sisters, Trisha Akaba; Susan Cowling; Julie Booth; sisters-in-law, Sally Wos; Mary Varner; Paulette Nelson; Helen Varner; Roberta Alberter-Upshaw; brother-in-law, Frank Yoder; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Caroline was a big advocate for SIDS and a big supporter of organ donation. She was a member of Resurrection Parish and apart of the Gone with the Wind book club. Caroline was well known and had friends all over the world. She will be missed by many. Friends will be received Fri.
