Price, LaRue- 87, Johnstown, passed away January 22, 2019 at McCullough House. Born July 30, 1931 in Windber, daughter of the late Joseph and Freda (Frye) Foust. She was preceded in death by her brother George Foust and sisters, Alice Cook and Ethel Figard. LaRue is survived by her husband Howard E. Price and 4 children, Louise Shreffler, married to Donald of Hollsopple, Larry Price, married to Susan of New Paris, Bonnie Pile, married to William of Hooversville, and Glenn Price of Rockwood, 7 grandchildren: Donald Shreffler, Beth Shreffler, Tamara (Price) Carlson, Ryan Price, Angie (Pile) Springer, Adam Pile, Ashley (Pile) Raco, along with 10 great-grandchildren. She is the sister of Richard “Dick” Foust of Chambersburg, Edward (Nancy) Foust of Hagerstown, Robert (Lil) Foust of Greencastle, Shirley Deyarmin and Frances (Ray) Harclerode, both of Windber and Mary (John) Manges of Johnstown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. LaRue was a former cook at the Jerome Elementary School and member of the Scalp Level Church of the Brethren and Choir. LaRue’s hobbies included: Loving her cats, Duck Pin Bowling, Fishing, feeding the Hummingbirds, Baking, Knitting, Crocheting, Singing Hymns and playing with the Grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday January 25 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., and again on Saturday January 26 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Mark Murchie, officiating. Interment will be private.
