Oldham, Gertrude T., 90, Hastings, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at Hummingbird Estate. She was born April 18, 1929 in St. Boniface. Daughter of the late Alvin and Edna (Baker) Thomas. Gertrude is preceded in death by her parents; first husband John Lann (1966); her second husband Alvin F. Oldham (2012); her siblings, Clarence, Hilda, Amandus, Cletus, Anna Catherine, John, and Elizabeth. Gertrude is survived by her children, Ellen Lann, Hastings; John Lann, Maryland; her grandchildren, John W. Lann (Rebecca), Kathryn Burroughs (Christopher); her great-grandchildren, Jordan Burroughs, Alexandra Burroughs, and Collin Lann; her brother, Alvin; her sister, Janet; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other members of extended family. Gertrude worked at Ebensburg center as a nurse’s aide for many years. She enjoyed painting, traveling, playing cards and games, especially Scrabble. Gertrude lived a long and peaceful life, and she was grateful for her many blessings. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday October 8th, 2019 at St. Bernard Church from 10 AM until time of the memorial mass at 11 AM, Father Thaddeus E. Rettger O.S.B, officiating. Interment will be in St. Bernard cemetery.
