Hawk, Margaret, 83, Bedford, formerly of Johnstown, passed away May 29, 2020 at her home. Born October 25, 1936 to the late Stephen and Anna (Misinay) Novotny. Preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Joseph, Albert, Frank, Helen Galus, Stephen, and Mary Plonka.  Survived by her husband of 63 years, Gerald L. Hawk Sr.; son, Gerald L. Hawk Jr. and his wife Joan of Bedford; sister Catherine Stehnach of Johnstown; and other members of her extended family. Margaret was formerly employed at Griffith Custer Steel as a secretary. Her special pleasures were her daily phone conversations with her niece, her sister, and her best friend; and enjoying her porch with her beloved husband.  “Midge” was a great conversationalist and a gracious hostess, always ready with a pot of coffee and treats for those who visited.  Devoted to her family and her friends, she will be greatly missed.
