Ross, Marion (Couperthwaite) (Richards), 92, Windber, passed away March 2, 2021 at home. Born May 30, 1928 to the late John and Mazie (Weyant) Couperthwaite. Preceded in death by first husband, Harry Richards; second husband, Jack Ross; siblings, Verdene, Tom, Betty, and Jack; nephew Tom “Punk”; and special friend, Robert Burrows. Survived by children, Tim Richards and wife Deb; Pam Harkcom and husband Allen Ott; sister, Joann Hunt; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Marion was the owner of Bucks Bar on Route 30, she worked at Ship Hotel, and retired from Conemaugh Hospital’s dietary department. She lived her life the way she wanted. Marion enjoyed trips to Arizona to see Tim, riding motorcycles, and going to the beach and to casinos. Marion was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and Polish and Moose Clubs of Windber. She also volunteered at the Church of the Brethren Home and Windber Food Pantry. Marion’s family would like to thank Dr. Conor Mulcahy and Windber Hospice for their compassionate care. At Marion’s request there will be no services.
