Batrus, David Paul, ”Butch” 75, Johnstown, passed away May 11, 2021, at home. He was born January 26, 1946, in Altoona, PA, son of the late Joseph and Alexandria “Nina” (Salem) Batrus. He was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas, Joseph, Robert, Albert, and John Batrus; and sister, Marian Batrus. He is survived by brothers, Donald Batrus (Kitty), of Johnstown, PA, and William Batrus (Theresa), of San Bernardino, CA; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. David was a graduate of Johnstown High School, where he played football and hockey. He was an employee of the Johnstown Housing Authority and served as Johnstown’s Recreation Director. He was an avid pool player and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, who were very important in his life.
