Pasadena, MD – Roser, Lester B. Sr., 88, of Pasadena, MD, formerly of Cherry Tree, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023.  Born July 1, 1934, in Pine Township, Indiana County; he was a son of the late Wilmer and Mildred (Waltermire) Roser. Also preceded in death by wife, Eva J.L. (Somerville) Roser, sisters, Imogene Kinter (Jim), Ruby Sensabaugh (Arthur), Annie Roser; brother, Elmer Roser (Betty).  Lester served in the US Army. He worked the family farm, was a milk truck driver, how he met the love of his life, log truck driver for Farrell Lumber, a security guard at a coal weigh station and a farm hand at Sherry’s Farm.  Member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Nicktown Fire Company Auxiliary and American Legion Post 40. He enjoyed growing a garden, especially tomatoes and peonies, playing Chinese checker and solitaire, sitting on the porch swing watching his hummingbirds and rabbits, but most of all being a Dad. Survived by daughter, Lesley Hunter and husband Bruce; son, Lester Roser Jr., all of Pasadena, MD; numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received at the Easly Hindman Funeral Home Inc, 333 Beaver St., Hastings on Friday January 20, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday January 21, 2023 at 11 a.m. Viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Laurel Swamp Cemetery, Clymer.
