Kudel, James E., 67, of Mineral Point, passed away on May 17, 2023. Born September 3, 1955, to James and Rose (Rashlich) Kudel. Survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Jan; brothers, Kevin and Brian; sisters, Carol Galayda, Emily Hershel, Susan Kolesar, and Maria Jacobeen; 19 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; parents-in-law, Stan and Marie Urbanik; sister-in-law, Terri Murphy and brother-in-law, Mark Urbanik. James, known to many as Uncle Moose, was fiercely loyal and loving to his family. He was passionate about sports, particularly the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and Penn State football. He loved the outdoors, especially taking walks on the Staple Bend Tunnel trail and long bike rides down in Ocean City, Maryland. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, May 23rd from 3-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown, PA 15906. A service will be held on Wednesday, May 24th at 11 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church, 3513 William Penn Ave., Johnstown, PA 15909. No flowers, please.
