Obituary

STEWART – Charles S., “Charlie”, “Sonny”, 67, Johnstown, died April 18, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 5, 1941 in Johnstown; son of the late Charles R. and Ellen (Boring) Stewart. Preceded in death by son, James D. Stewart and sisters, Nora Anna Stewart and Rachel Gustkey.

Survived by wife, Mary E. (Jones) Stewart; adopted children, Gregory and DeRonda Steele, Johnstown; sisters, Alice Schatz, married to James, Conemaugh; and Deborah Stewart, Conemaugh; brothers-in-law, Charles Gustkey Jr., Franklin; Robert Teeter, Brookville; and Kenneth Teeter, Johnstown. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Charles retired after 39 years working in maintenance at Conemaugh Hospital. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and also his cat, “Kelly”.

Friends received Friday from 2 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 1521 Frankstown Rd. Pastor Ronald P. Carnevali Sr. officiating. Those who wish may send contributions to the family to offset expenses.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 5:1
