Obituary

HORNER – JoAnn E., 78, Johnstown, died Jan. 17, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 9, 1932, in Shickshinny, Pa., daughter of the late George and Elaine (Franklin) Heffner. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Jennifer.

Survived by loving husband of 60 years, William G. Horner; children, Barbara Jo Plummer, and husband, Gerald; William Horner, and wife, Judith (Lamer); and Amy Jo Munoz, and husband, Wayne, all of Johnstown; and Dena Jo Horner, Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Mike Plummer, and wife, Julie, Pittsburgh; Dave Plummer, and wife, Dana, Venetia; Jeremy Plummer, and wife, Jessica, Erie; William M. Horner, and wife, Jennifer, Johnstown; Derek Horner, and fiancee, Jenn, Johnstown; Jessica Horner, Gibsonia; and Joseph Munoz, and wife, Diana, Johnstown; great-grandchildren, Juliette, Kayleigh, Alexa, William, Gianna, Samantha, Sarah and Macy; and brothers, Charles, and wife, Margaret, Johnstown; and Donald, and wife, Georgia, Naples, Fla.; also numerous friends.

JoAnn worked at S&H Green Stamp Store and was a manager of Country Son until health reasons forced her to retire. She was an avid collector of Raggedy Ann dolls.

Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Dr. Robert R. Wagner, officiating. Committal, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
