Obituary

MacMURDO Donna G., 74, Richland, died Feb. 5, 2012. Born July 6, 1937, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Vuicich) Spanovich.

Preceded in death by sisters, Dolly Kleinosky and June Bigler; and sister-in-law, Chleora Geiser.

Survived by husband, Robert MacMurdo; children, Amy Miller, and husband, Michael, Johnstown; Robert MacMurdo, and wife, Amy, Fairfax, Va.; and Michael MacMurdo, and wife Sue, Johnstown; and grandsons, Andrew, Nathan, Jacob and Benjamin.

Also survived by sister, Lois Maiorana, married to Rudy; aunt, Amelia Kolar; cousins, Melissa Kolar and Mitch and Helen Spanovich; and brother-in-law, Jim MacMurdo, and wife, Charlotte, all of Johnstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Donna was a member of the former St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. She enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels, shopping, going to the movies and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandsons. She will be missed dearly by her family and all who knew her.

At the request of Donna and her family, funeral service and committal will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels program or Saturdays Kitchen, both of Johnstown.
