BOOTHBY Robert E., 72, Johnstown, died Sept. 19, 2012, at Select Specialty. Born Sept. 6, 1940, in Johnstown, son of the late Cyril Boothby and Genevieve (Weaver) Boothby-Kelly. Preceded in death by, sisters, Carol, Anita and Sandra; and brother, Frank Boothby. Survived by brother, Richard Boothby, Vintondale; and numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran and formerly a registered nurse and nursing supervisor at Laurel Crest Manor. He enjoyed collecting glassware, antiques and fishing. Friends received from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Committal, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with military rites by VFW Menoher Post 155. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the family to be used at their discretion.
