Passed into eternity October 24, 2013 after being surrounded by family.
“Dick” was born April 12, 1934 in Johnstown, Son of the late William and Margaret (Koenig) Huss and Stepmother Jessie (Gilbert) Huss.
Preceded in death by sister Mary Lou Shomo.
Survived by his wife of 58 years Catherine (Burgo) Huss, sister Carol Kibler and brother William.
Also son, Richard Jr. married to Marcia (Jones), daughter Theresa Sutt, son Christopher married to Gail (Callahan), daughter Karen married to David Durica, son James married to Tracy (Wagner) and daughter Michelle married to Ira Strahl and loving grandchildren Richard Huss III, Matthew Huss, Courtney Harr, Megan Sutt, William Huss, Katlyn Kmetz married to Abe, Allison Durica, Anna Durica, Maggie Durica, Kelsey Huss, Jenna Huss, Erika Huss, Marcus Strahl and Hannah Strahl.
Also 5 Great Grandchildren.
He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Freight Car Division in Johnstown.
Dick was an avid Fisherman, Hunter and Bowler.
He was a member of SS. Gregory and Barnabus Parish, Daisytown where Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 26, 2013 at 1:00PM.
There will be no public viewing in accordance with Dick’s wishes.
