Obituary

Marano, Bernard William, 50, died December 16, 2013 at Windber Hospice. Born July 31, 1963 in Johnstown; son of William B. Marano and Hallie (Dimond) Mehalko. Survived by parents; wife, Nancy (Manges) Marano; sons, Michael Marano, Austin, TX and Roman Marano, Johnstown; brothers, Adam Marano, wife Stacy, Parkland, FL and Darin Marano, Warwick, RI and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bernie enjoyed hockey, baseball, and was an Eagle Scout and Parrothead. He attended Hooversville Church of the Brethren.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 21st 2013 at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, 1421 Clapboard Run Road, Johnstown, at 11 a.m., Pastors John Manges and Paul Hamilton, officiating. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to Windber Hospice.
