Obituary

Hiner, Patricia A., 84, Johnstown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Dec. 10, 2015 at LaurelWood Care Center. Born Dec. 30, 1930, Johnstown, to the late Carl W. and Doris F. (Peer) Savering. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl E. Hiner, Jr.; son, Joseph P. Hiner; 3 sisters; and 1 brother. Survived by her children, Alan C. Hiner, Johnstown; Joyce A. (Paul) Garbacz, Watsontown; Christine M. Hiner, Turbotville; Jean Ann Hiner, Falls Church, VA; 4 grandchildren, Tammy L. Yonkin, Angie J. Reichard, Nicole M. (Steve) Hogan, and Danny J. Hiner; 5 great-grandchildren, Cody, Vanessa, Collin, Isaac, and Liam; and brother, Jack W. Savering. Patricia was a member of SS. Gregory and Barnabas Parish where she was in the Altar and Rosary Society, and Daisytown & Coverhill Ladies Auxiliary.  Friends received Friday, from 4-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday  at 10 a.m., SS. Gregory and Barnabas, Daisytown, Fr. Robert L. Ruston, officiating.
