Horner, Mildred W., 100, Williamsport, MD, formerly of Johnstown, died Sept. 12, 2017 at Homewood Retirement Center at Williamsport, MD. Born July 10, 1917, daughter of the late Charles W. and Jessie (Miller) Wirtz. Survived by her loving husband of 77 years Raymond C. Horner; sons, Richard R. Horner and wife, Christine H., Seattle, WA,  Douglas C. Horner and wife, Priscilla H., Shepherdstown, WV; grandsons: Charles R. Horner and wife, Allie, Tacoma, WA; Michael H. Horner and wife, Jamie, Ellensburg, WA; Jeremy D.H. Horner, Shepherdstown, WV; and granddaughter, Jessica H. Herbert and husband, Martin, Shepherdstown, WV; 3 great-grandsons: Adam and Sami, Tacoma, WA; Connor, Shepherdstown, WV,  and 2 great-granddaughters, Katie and Natty, Ellensburg, WA. Mildred was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church where she was a faithful member of women’s groups and Sunday school. Friends will be received Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:30 a.m., Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 146 Chandler Ave., Pastor Matt Williams, officiating.
