Lavely, Frederick Allen III, 61, Johnstown, died February 21, 2018 at his home. Born December 12, 1956 to Frederick Allen Lavely Jr. and Janet L. (McClain) Fry. Preceded in death by father; son, Frederick Lavely IV; and step-daughter, Melissa Neuner. Survived by mother, Janet Fry and step-father, Clarence Fry; step-mom, Cecilia Lavely; sons, David Valentine; Brian Lavely; siblings, Kenneth Lavely; Debbie Bernheimer; Sherri Craig; David and Randy Lavely; step-sisters, Debra and Carolyn; grandchildren, Alonna and Devon Valentine; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, Robert Craig Sr. Frederick was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard and a coal miner for many years. He enjoyed camping and fishing. At the request of the family, there will be no viewing or service. Donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
