Hamer, Edith Mae, 81, Johnstown, passed away February 23, 2018 at Richland Health Care. Born August 26, 1936 in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Henry and Marie (Roberts) Hall. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Francis Hamer; brother, Richard Hall; and great grandchildren, Demiah and LaCrisha Simms, and Darryl Keyshon Smith. Survived by daughters, Anna Hamer, Dorothy Simms, Gail Neisner (Michael “Scott”), and Deborah Hamer; son, Simon “Pete” Hamer (fiancé, Gail Zahurak); grandchildren, Tawsha Reynolds (Landell), Oran Ream IV, Hether Hamer, Crystal Simms, Christopher Young Jr., Latya Hamer, Tiffany Simms, Elyse Young, Shane Neisner, Carolyn Glover, Kaylee Bloom (Brandon), and Dylan Hamer; 19 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sarah Hall; and special cousin, Maryland Cauffield. Edith loved her family and enjoyed throwing darts and word searches. A special thanks to Richland Health Care and Ascera Care Hospice. Family and friends will be received Monday, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m., Rev.
