Obituary

Rager, Charles McKinely Jr. “Chucky”, 82, Johnstown, passed away June 8, 2019 at Windber Hospice. Born April 2, 1937 to the late Charles and Dorothy (Rude) Rager Sr. Preceded in death by his sweetheart, Donna Lee Rager; son, Charles “Chuckie” Rager III; and siblings, Della Mae; Ethel Leona; Magaret Louise; Florence Marie; Viola Grace; Betty Jane; and Annabelle Rager. Survived by son, Craig Michael and partner Elaine Bachik; grandchildren, Allison Lee; Laden Michael; Reece Daniel Rager; great grandson, Zachary Allen; and many nieces and nephews. Charles was an avid golfer and shooting enthusiast. He enjoyed bowling and Friday excursions with his grandchildren. Charles retired from Penelec at age 58 with 37 years of service to spend more time with his loving wife and sweetheart, Donna Lee. There will be no public services. Donations made in Charles’ name to Windber Hospice.
