Obituary

Freda A. Kelly, 93, Johnstown, died April 4 2021. Born January 12, 1928 in Nanty- Glo, PA. Daughter of Clarence and Eva (Teeter) Leidy. Married to Merle D. Kelly on November 28, 1946. She was preceded in death by parents and husband.
Also preceded in death by brother Clarence Leidy Jr., his wife, Catherine Leidy, brother Edward Leidy, brother-in-law, Roy Kelly and son in law, Sid Miller.
Survived by brother, Ray Leidy and his wife Polly of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, sister-in-law, Marlene Leidy of Wadsworth, Ohio and sister-in-law, Vie Kelly of Johnstown.
Survived by sons, Lane (Patricia) Kelly of Mineral Point; Bradley (Mary) Kelly of Nanty-Glo; daughter, Joy Miller of Davidsville.
Also survived by grandchildren, Kirk Kelly of Mineral Point; Shannon Kelly (Eric Fieser) of Arlington, VA; Tanya (Lee) Kindel of Fombell, PA; Shawn (Kattie) Kelly of Nantry-Glo; Brandon (Laura) Kelly of Allison Park,PA.
Great Grandchildren, Jayla Handlon, Scarlett Kindel, Conor Kindel and Lynn Kelly.
Freda was a graduate of the former Ebensburg Cambria High School. She was a housewife and worked part time at a number of jobs. Her latest job was at Penn Traffic Department Store.
She was a charter member of Pike Grace Brethren Church in Mundys Corner, PA where she participated in many activities and was a member of the West Jackson Community Club.
The family would like to thank the staff in the Crossroads and West Wings at Arbutus Park Manor for the excellent care she was given during her four years there and they request in lieu of flowers, donations be given to Arbutus Park Manor, Benevolence Fund, 207 Ottawa Street, Johnstown, PA 15904.
Services will be held on April 16, 2021 at Pike Grace Brethren Church with a visitation from 10 to service time at 11 am officiating Pastor Rudy Sheptock .
