Obituary
Bovino, Viola M., 78, passed away December 10, 2024. Born July 2, 1946, to the late James and Mary Fisher. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Bovino, Sr. and brother, James Fisher. Survived by her daughter, Sue Ann Jardina (James A. Jardina III); son, Charles R. Bovino, Jr.; grandsons, James Jardina IV (Dustin Roudabush) and Anthony Jardina (Katelyn Rae Jardina); great-granddaughter, Isabella Rae, who she affectionately called ‘My Bella’; and brother, Paul Fisher (Joni). Viola loved her family more than anything. She showed this love by always remembering their favorite foods and favorite things. She always had these on hand for any visitors or to bring with her when she visited you. Her “Grandma Bo” eggs were always a big breakfast time request, but her lasagna, sauce, meatballs, and pork were her specialty. She only made these dishes for special occasions as well as every Christmas. Viola was always a hit at Christmas with her cookies, which she made and distributed herself to everyone. Her quiet stoicism mixed with her quirky sense of humor always helped make everyone feel at ease. Viola was very organized and on top of everything and everyone; your best interests were hers. Special thank you to Paul and Joni Fisher and the staff at Windber Woods (where she worked as a nurse’s aid and built lasting friendships). We are grateful for the exceptional support, compassion, and care you provided during this difficult period. Per her wishes there will be no viewing or service. Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., “Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care.” Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com.
