Obituary

Davis, John McCue, 70, of South Fork, PA passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 at St. Jude’s Haven. John was born in Greenbelt, Maryland on July 23, 1954, to John Raymond Davis and Elnor McCue Davis. John attended Prince George’s County schools and Miami-Dade Junior Senior High School before joining the Marine Corps.

John was a member of First Presbyterian Church and served over the years as the custodian, a trustee, senior choir member, and member of the Endowment Committee.

John was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lynette Davis Lalka; and sister-in-law, Cheryl McClemens Hutzell. John is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carla; son, John McCue Jr., Altoona, PA; and grandchildren, Isabella Grace, and Peyton Francesca, both of Altoona, PA.

A private burial will be held for immediate family members. A celebration of life will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 309 Lincoln St., Johnstown, PA 15901, on Saturday, May 10^th at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Hyiwot Teshome, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots in John’s memory.
