Agnes Marie (Aggie) Lopez, 84, Johnstown, passed away on August 4, 2025. Born October 3, 1940, to the late Philip Paul and Marie Agnes (Blawn) Swanger. Preceded in death by her loving husband, George Lopez, Jr.; son George Lopez III; stepdaughter, Cindy (Tinker) Young; brothers, Philip (Ann) Swanger, Jr., Lawrence (Dot) Swanger, John “Jack” (Liz) Swanger, Raymond (Carol) Swanger, and Norbert Swanger; and sister-in-law, Rosie Villafane. Survived by daughters, Janet (Walt) Brazil, Jacalyn (Kevork) Mardirossian, and Phyllis (Edgar Juarez) Lopez; Grandchildren, Matthew (Danielle) Brazil, Samantha Brazil, Hourig Mardirossian, Tanya Mardirossian, Savannah Hernandez, Adalyn Juarez, Selena (Tyler) Young, and Jeremy Young; Great Grandchildren, Gianna Brazil, Charlie Rae Brazil, August Brazil, Deven Young, Logyn Young, Taegyn Young, and Brooklyn Miller; Godson, John (Vicki) Swanger, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Janice Swanger, Margie (John) Sexton, and Vickie (Bob) Hopkins; and numerous nieces and nephews. Agnes graduated from Johnstown High School in 1958. Owner/operator of the Cantina de Lopez. She enjoyed making memories with her family and friends and trips to the beach. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. A gathering will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 4:00 until the time of service at 7:00 at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road.
