Obituary

Bob passed away peacefully on September 8,2025, at the age of 92 while at Arotin’s Hummingbird Estate in Patton. Bob was a 1950 graduate of Hastings High School, a lifelong member of Saint Bernard’s Catholic Church and the Hastings community. He worked at the Binder hardware store in Hastings for many years. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Marie Ladenberger, his sister Mary Kathryn and his fiancé Jane Mansfield. He is survived by many cousins and lifelong friends. A special thanks goes out to the staff at Arotin’s Hummingbird Estate for all the love, support and compassion given to Bob over the past eight months. A mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 11:00am at the Saint Bernards Church in Hastings. Interment will be at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hastings Public Library, 309 Beaver St., Hastings, PA 16646.
