Obituary

Harrison – Gloria Jean, 81, went into the arms of the Lord on February 24, 2026, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Eleanor Harcher, and former husband, Clyde Harrison. Survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Daniel); sons, James, Thomas (Pam), and Matt (Mindy); grandchildren, Nikki (Mandy), Krista (Nathan), Brady, Kelly (Patrick), and Brett; great grandchildren, Rais, Sydney, Brenden and Maddie; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Gloria was active in the community early on with the West End Lioness Club serving as president from 1994-1995. She loved playing bingo, going to the casino, and her card clubs. Her greatest joy of all was her family who she loved dearly, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed, but we all take comfort in knowing she is with her Lord in heaven. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Research Hospital. Family will receive friends from 2:00 until 6:00 on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Hindman Funeral Homes (Frankstown). A service will be held at 11:00 on Monday, March 2, 2026, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Rob Wolfe and Pastor Robert Way officiating.
