Obituary

HAVERS Donald A., 72, Johnstown, died June 20, 2011. Born October 5, 1938 in Johnstown; son of the late Andrew and Mary (Kolesar) Havers. Preceded in death by mother-in-law, Valeria Bazyk, brother-in-law, Glenn Lintz, and sister-in-law, Kathy Bazyk.

Survived by loving wife of 27 years, Alice Mae (Bazyk) Havers; sister, Nancy Ott and husband Clayton, formerly of Windber, Florida; brothers-in-law, Frank Bazyk, Johnstown; and John Bazyk and wife Pat, Jerome; sister-in-law, Josephine Lintz, Boswell; special nephew, Mark Havers and special niece, Jaime Santoyo as well as numerous other nephews and nieces.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp.
Member of Grace Lutheran Church. He enjoyed his family, the outdoors and spending time at his camp up North, NASCAR, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and clean cars.

Friends received 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 146 Chandler Ave. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, Nancy Hoover officiating. Committal Grandview Cemetery with military honors by VFW Menoher Post 155. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
