Obituary

Riordan, Donald R., 84, State College, died Monday, March 26, 2012, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College, PA.

Born May 21, 1927, in Hastings; son of the late Dennis and Helen (Lann) Riordan. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary (Kelly) Riordan, whom he married November 22, 1947, in Hastings, sisters, Jane Hunt, Florida, and Rita Hicks, Barnesboro.

Survived by his brother, Bill Riordan, Greencastle, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Riordan served in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific from 1945-1947.

He was a professional auto mechanic by trade, working in several major dealerships in Pennsylvania and retiring from the motor pool at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.

He was a member of the OLV Church in State College.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings where a funeral mass will follow at 11 a.m. Interment in church cemetery. Military Honors by the Hastings VFW
