Obituary

Boring, Ernest E. Sr., 73, Johnstown, died August 29, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 9, 1938 in East Wheatfield Twp., son of the late Wilbert Boring Sr. and Margaret (Prettyman) Boring DeWeese. Preceded in death by step-father, Arthur DeWeese; brothers, Wilbert Jr.; Francis and Donald Boring and sisters, Gloria Hansrote; Shirley Doughtie; Bonnie Lou Rager and Mary Rager. Survived by wife of 55 years, Frances (West) Boring, Johnstown, daughter, Debe Graffius; sons, Mike Boring and wife Luanne and Ernie Boring Jr.; grandchildren, JR Leventry, married to Angela Berkebile; Dottie Pluta and husband, Joey; Maigin Boring; Michael Boring; Kandi Boring and fianc Jason Hamilton, Amanda Boring and husband George Jones and Jami M. Boring; 5 great-grandchildren and sister, Sandy Davis and husband Tom and brother William Boring and wife Linda. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great friends, Moe and Linda Ott, Harrisburg. Ernest was a US Air Force Veteran and a millwright for Bethlehem Steel Corp. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9pm Friday at the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. A private memorial service and committal will be held at the convenience of the family.
