Obituary

Sauro, George W. Jr., 70 Johnstown died February 27, 2011 at home. Born July 20, 1940 in Johnstown. Son of the late George and Almira (Vickers) Sauro. Preceeded in death by brother Tom.

Survived by wife Mary Ellen (Muller) Sauro; and these children; George, Brian, Bradley and Melanie Sauro and Lisa Webber all of Texas. Deborah Sauro of Montana, Joseph Muller married to Julie of Dover, Pa, Daniel Muller married to Kathy, George Sauro III married to Lana all of Johnstown.

Also survived by 7 granchildren and sisters Robyn, Mary Sue, Cindy, and Kathy.

George was a US Army Veteran and former truck driver for JB Hunt. A member of the American Legion post 849, Austrian Hall, Woodvale AC and he enjoyed fishing at Bob’s Creek, Shawnee, and Yellowcreek.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. David A. Hill, officiating. Arrangements in charge of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc “Exclusive Provider of Veterans & Family Memorial Care”.
