Obituary

FLICK – Jean, 80, Duncansville, died March 10, 2010. Born August 12, 1929 In Altoona; daughter of the late John and Mary (Burr) Coke. Preceded in death by siblings, Joan, Pat, and Jack. Survived by husband, George, daughters, Carole McCormick, Brenda Flick and Donna Flick; sons, Don Flick and George Jr. “Skip” Flick, and Damon Coke. Also, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Jean was a member of the Heidelberg Country Club where she enjoyed playing cards. She was active in the Democratic Party, working the election Poles for over 30 years.

She had a great love for people and also loved her job doing demos at Martin’s in Duncansville.

The family extends many thanks to neighbors, friends, family, The Hollidaysburg Christian Missionary Alliance Church and Home Nursing Agency Hospice for their care and support.

A memorial service will be held Monday March 15th at 7 p.m. at Hollidaysburg Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 2 Jefferson St.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to the church or hospice in Jean’s memory.
