Obituary

Babula, Jerome Pete, 64, Johnstown, died December 20, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 3, 1947 in Windber, son of the late Michael and Anna (Malenda) Babula.

Preceded in death by brother, Frank Babula and sisters Helen Elko and Elizabeth Tyger.

Survived by wife, the former Maria E. Avila, Johnstown; children, Sean Babula, Middletown, PA; Jay Babula, faithfully at home and Melanie and partner Brian Letosky, Richland; beloved granddaughter Alanna Marie Kozielec; brother and best friend, William Babula and sister Margaret Santichen, both of Johnstown and beloved baby Noodles.

Also survived by brother-in-law, Richard (Robin) Avila, Carlisle; brother-in-law John (Pam) Avila, Chicago, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pete retired from North American Hoganas, Johnstown in 2008. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the familys convenience.
