Obituary

Westrick, John P., 78, Hastings, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at his residence.

Born March 22, 1934, in Hastings; a son of the late Wilfred F. and Lucy M. (Strossler) Westrick. Also preceded in death by brothers, William, Thomas and James Westrick.

Survived by his wife, Dolores C. (Strittmatter) Westrick; daughter, Mary (Ray) Shingle, Chest Springs, sons, Joe and Ken Westrick, both of Ellicott City, MD; grandchildren, Nicole (Adam) Standard, John Shingle and friend Lacey; and a special family friend, Mabel Huber.

Mr. Westrick was a graduate of Cambria Rowe Business School. He was an accountant and did payroll for Saint Francis University for many years. He served in the US Air Force. He was a member of St. Boniface Church.
Friends received from 6 to 8 pm. Friday at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hastings.

A funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Burial in church cemetery. Military rites by Hastings VFW.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
