Obituary

SCHILLINGER – Joseph Lincoln, 89, Hollsopple, died January 17, 2011 at Windber Hospital. Born February 12, 1921 in Johnstown, son of the late Philip A. and Sara Viola (Miller) Schillinger. Preceded in death by wife, Anna Lenora (Lavely), step-sons, Harry and Charles Moore; and brothers, Andrew and Robert.

Survived by sister, Mary Elizabeth Lingenfelter, Manteca, CA; and these nieces and nephews, Donna Newlin, Salix; Susan Scott, Philadelphia; Dayle Ann Eckenrode, Johnstown; Andrea Kay Wise, Severn, MD; Patricia Castillo, San Jose, CA; James Lingenfelter Jr., Sacremento, CA; Jody Shammaa, Manteca, CA and Bobbi Donaldson, Manteca, CA.

Joseph was a retired foreman for Bethlehem Steel Corp. and the owner of Joe’s Repair. He was also a US Air Force Veteran during WWII and a member of Roxbury St Paul’s United Methodist Church.

Friends are invited to a memorial service 1 p.m. on Saturday at the church, with Pastor Wayne D. Sedei officiating. Inurnment private.
