Obituary

Thomas, Louise M., 85, Hastings, passed away October 18, 2013 at Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg. Born February 13, 1928 in Elder Township, daughter of the late Vernon and Sarah (Semelsberger) Drass; preceded in death by husband, William N. Thomas; son, Shawn Michael Henderson and brothers and sisters, Eugene Drass; Clair Drass; Doris Kline and Rita Kline.

Survived by children, David and wife, Kathleen (Noll) and their children, Annette; Keith, and fianc, Jena Gionotti and Neil; Lawrence and wife, Cynthia (Kline) and their children, Jeffrey and wife, Leslie; Laura and husband, John Wargo; Duane and wife, Melissa and Shanon and husband, Jordan Bender; Shirley, married to Raymond Chirdon and their daughter, Sarah and husband, Douglas Warner; Rick and wife, Lynne( McGough) and their children, Garret and wife, Melanie and Mitchell and Cindy, married to Donald Inzana and their son, Ross. Also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Ken and Gloria Thomas; Dennis Kline and Richard Kline and sister-in-law, Evelyn Angert
Louise was a former member of the Altar Rosary Society at St George Church and former member of the Legion of Mary. She was a member of St Bernard Church, Hastings and a cook for Cambria Heights School District. She loved her grandkids; baking and cooking. She also enjoyed card playing and camping with her family.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 9pm Sunday at the Easly Hindman Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 333 Beaver Street Hastings and from 10am until time of funeral mass at 11am Monday at St Bernard Church. Fr Thaddeus Rettger O.S.B., officiating. Interment will be held at St Bernard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Louise’s memory.
