Obituary

PENROD, Regis D., 66, South Fork, died March 13, 2013 at Windber Hospice. Born September 8, 1946 in Mt. Hope; son of the late Wade and Dola (Jennings) Penrod. Preceded in death by brother, Jay Penrod.
Survived by wife, Beverly (Skitka) Penrod, children, Wendy Kudlawiec married to Mark, Ebensburg; Scott Penrod, Windber; Shannon Eberly, married to James, Frostburg, MD; and Erin Gabany, married to Christopher, State College; sister, Carol Markulin, Enola; brothers, Don Penrod, FL and Carey Penrod, VA; nephew, Rick Penrod and 8 grandchildren.

Regis was a coal miner for Barnes and Tucker and an Army Veteran. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed drag racing.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, Pastor Jason McQueen, officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family or Windber Hospice in his name.
