Obituary

MILLER Roseann, 74, South Fork, passed away surrounded by her family and loved ones July 22, 2012, at home. Born July 6, 1938, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Joseph and Rosella (Hoffman) Lopresti. Survived by husband of 55 years, Elmer “Bud” Miller; children, Christine, married to John Serre, Sidman; Monica, married to Russell Gillman, Sidman; Karen, married to Dan Lester, South Fork; Janice, married to Joe Smolko, Johnstown; Jeanette, married to Steve Stahr, Johnstown; and Daniel, married to Denise (Sense), Lilly; also grandchildren, who she raised as her own, Ashley (Matt), Danielle (Mike), Kate, Jarrod, Chelsea, Justin, Joel, Taylor, Jordan and Madison; five great-grandchildren; and brother, James Lopresti, married to Margaret (Montag), Johnstown. Graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School, where she was in honor society. Roseann was a member of St. John Gaulbert Cathedral and St. John’s Service Group and a volunteer at St. Barnabas fish fry’s. She worked as secretary for the Department of Agriculture, REA. She enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who will be extremely missed. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John Gaulbert Cathedral, the Very Rev. James F. Crookston, officiating. Inurnment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
