Hampton, Wilson M., 78, Altoona, died August 9, 2013 at Valley View Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born November 6, 1934 in Grazierville, son of the late Roy Sr. and Sarah (Hetrick) Hampton. Preceded in death by wife, the former Arlene Ann Fisher; brothers, Roy Jr.; Walter “Oat” and Lester “Jake” and sisters, Marian Wilson; Mary Bartlebaugh and Treva Bridges. Survived by daughter, Lisa Hampton, Altoona; son, Wilson Jr. and wife, Beverly Budzinski, Tyrone; grandson, Jonathan and sisters, Mildred Bezilla, Ohio and Martha Hampton, Tyrone. Wilson was employed at DelGrosso’s Foods Inc., was a US Army Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict and enjoyed hunting and fishing; watching wrestling on TV; enjoyed being with his dog, Baby and loved relaxing on the porch. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central PA Humane Society 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd. Altoona, PA 16602.
