Obituary

AMBROSE Alice Adell, 89, Johnstown, died January 12, 2012 at Laurel Wood Care Center. Born February 9, 1922 in Johnstown; daughter of the late Leroy and Myrtle Mae (Stiffler) Ambrose.

Preceded in death by infant brother, Harvey Ambrose and brother, Robert and Patricia Ambrose.

Survived by son, Jerry, and wife, Karen (Kohan), Johnstown; grandchildren, Zachary, Joel, and Jonah Ambrose. Also survived by nephew Robert (Susan) Ambrose Jr. and niece Sandra Christman.

She was a baker for Livingston’s Bakery and also worked for Gee Bee.

Friends received 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 146 Chandler Ave. Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday at Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., Pastor Raymond Grumbling, officiating. Interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Third brethren Church, 184 Spring St. Johnstown, PA 15906.
