Obituary

Wagner, Alvin P. Sr., 78, Johnstown, passed away July 15, 2024. Born August 26, 1945, to the late Wilbert and Edna (Hileman) Wagner. Also preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda (Wasylyshyn) Wagner; brothers, Donald, Herman, Jack, Ronald, Chuck, Glenn, and Harry; sisters, Betty and Dolores. He was survived by sons, Alvin Jr., Joseph (Holly), Stephen (Jocelyn), and Joel; daughter, Violet; fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Alvin loved the Pirates and the Steelers, and coaching Johnstown Boys Club. He was a faithful member of the Third Brethren Church. He also loved helping his friends with anything they needed. The family will receive friends Friday, July 19th from 3pm until the time of service at 5pm at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., Johnstown, PA 15906.
