Obituary

Audrey Mae Griffith, 98, Johnstown, passed away on May 13, 2025. Born on July 17, 1926, to the late Verner and Naomi (Boyle) Richey. Preceded in death by husband of 65 years, Donald Griffith, Sr.; son, Donald Griffith, Jr. (Marcia Jo Rolish); grandson, David Ryan Mulkey; siblings, Eleanor Johns and Verner Richey. Survived by daughter, Deborah (Louis) Mulkey; grandchildren, Scott (Hollie) Griffith, Beckie (Pam) Griffith, Jim (Judy) Griffith, and Louis Mulkey, Jr.; great grandchildren, Rachel, Samantha (Ez), Cady, Beckie, Meghan, Logan, Charlotte, and Chey; great great grandchildren, Tanner, Nevaeh, and Alanna; and numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey worked several retail jobs throughout her years, such as, Ben Franklin, Dollar General, and Kaufman’s Bridal. She loved reading, helping others, and was dedicated to her church. Audrey loved her family and friends unconditionally, as well as, her cousin, Debbie Rummel and friend, Tina Barber-Young. She was without doubt the most kind, selfless, and compassionate person. Audrey touched many hearts during her journey on this earth and she will be greatly missed! Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 2:00pm until the time of the service at 4:00pm at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road, with Pastor Gary Cline officiating.
