Obituary

Calvin Jay Cummings, 82 of Summerhill, died Sunday July 19  2015, at the Church of the Brethren Home. Born on September 9, 1932, he was the son of the late Edward Cummings and Ida (Fyock) Cummings. Preceded in death by 2 brothers, Floyd Cummings, Harold Cummings; sister, Donna Hoke. Survived by loving wife Diane(Myers) Cummings, Summerhill. Also survived by; sons, Wayne (Susan) Cummings, Chambersburg;  Jerry (Shari) Cummings, Summerhill; daughters, Linda (Byron) Thomas, Sidman;  Vicki (Matthew) Mackall, South Fork; along with 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Calvin was a machine operator at Eaton Axle Cleveland Ohio and also Johnstown Corporation. The family would like to thank all nurses at the Church of the Brethren Home for all their kindness and care.
