Thiel, Cynthia “Cindy”, 80, Johnstown, passed away May 26, 2025, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born February 9, 1945, to the late Dorsey and Ruth Long. Preceded in death by daughters, Melissa and Tara Thiel; and sisters, Caroline Long; Tracy Diamond and husband Dave; and Vicki Huston and husband Mike. Cindy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Survived by husband of 64 years, James Thiel; daughter, Wendy Ramirez (Ron); sons, Scott Thiel (Stephanie); Todd Thiel; grandchildren, Chelsea Keith; Ian Keith; Jordan Thiel; Zach Henry; Haley Dimond (Trey); Madison Ramirez; Samantha Ramirez; brothers, Lance Long (Judy); Brian Long (Barb); numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and beloved dog, Max. All services will be held privately.
