Obituary

Veigh, Daniel Bock, 74, Johnstown, died May 28, 2016 at Allegheny Lutheran Home.  Born February 20, 1942, Johnstown, son of the late George Sandor and Irene (Bock) Veigh.  Preceded in death by brother, George Sandor Veigh Jr.; and sisters, Gretchen Ester Veigh, Mercedes “Sue” Veigh and William “Fred” Veigh .Survived by cousins, Tom and John Casker. Daniel was a victim of cerebral palsy acquired early in life but lived to the fullest as his condition continued to deteriorate. His caretakers and social service workers in Cambria County doted over him. Many thanks go out to all those who helped him. He will be sadly missed by his longtime friends Sara Joy and Bruce Amshel. Friends received Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 146 Chandler Ave., Pastor Denise Todero, officiating.  Private interment, Grandview Cemetery.
